This is one of my favorite recipes by my daddy.  I didn't put how much you need for some of the ingredients because it all depends on how many you're cooking for and your preference.
Tofu Salad
by Mommy
  • tofu (3-4 containers)
  • bean sprouts (1-2 bags)
  • tomatoes (4)
  • tuna (1-2 cans)
  • green onion bunch (1-2 bunches)
  • 1/4 c oil
  • 1/2 c shoyu
  • 2 cloves garlic

Sauce:  Brown the garlic in the oil.  Cut green onions and let it sit in the shoyu.  When the garlic is done, add green onions and let it sit.

Salad:  Layer tofu, bean sprouts, tomatoes and tuna.  Pour sauce over the salad.  Enjoy!

An 'ono recipe and a healthy one too!
Special Brownies
by Kat A.
  • 1 box devil's food cake mix
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 box 8oz softened cream cheese
1. Mix cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg.
2. Press into greased 9 x 13 pan.
3. Mix powdered sugar, 2 eggs and cream cheese.
4. Pour over cake mixture and bake for 50 minutes at 350°F.

My favorite dessert to bake because it's easy & it tastes good.  When I used to do Filipino dancing, one of our dancers used to bring this to rehearsals sometimes.  It's sooooo delicious!  But then again, anything with cream cheese is super 'ono!
